In this story, Dontrell decides to voyage to the Atlantic Ocean to find his ancestors lost during the Middle Passage. The scenic design, loosely inspired by Donovan Nelson's Igbo Landing drawing, used the gesture of the heads of the enslaved coming up above the water.
